Deep Practices Consulting, L3C is a social enterprise that combats burnout and scales transformative change by creating system-wide conditions for equity, renewal, and human-centered practices. We work with leadership in all professions, including non-profits, education, healthcare, social work, mental health providers, public defenders, the private sector, and more to offer long-term, tailored supports. All of our services drive toward establishing equity, humanity, and inspiration in all aspects of a system to promote employee retention and satisfaction. Together we can create sustainable change from the ground up.

“Deep practices” refer to “any action or choice that originates from the heart.” The concept was first published in an article by Dr. Paul Michalec and Dr. Kate Newburgh entitled “Deep Practices: Advancing Equity by Creating Space and Language for the Inner Core of Teaching.” Commitment to deep practices is linked to employee wellness, higher employee retention, positive culture shifts, more collective trust among colleagues, and higher productivity.
